Cialis
Cialis (tadalafil) is a prescription medicine specially designed for men that are unable to get and maintain a stable erection for long enough to have sex. You can be prescribed Cialis if there are no contraindications and your health care provider thinks you will benefit from the treatment. The following medicines can interact with Cialis and are therefore not supposed to be used along with it: zafirlukast, amiodarone, efavirenz, clarithromycin, phenytoin, HIV protease inhibitors, aprepitant, troleandomycin, diltiazem, certain antifungals, fluoxetine, dexamethasone, cyclosporine, danazol, ethosuximide, medications for high blood pressure, phenobarbital, sertraline, fluvoxamine, cimetidine, verapamil, erythromycin, other erectile dysfunction medications, alpha blockers, rifabutin, and delavirdine. You need to be aware of some mild side effects possible when using Cialis, such as diarrhea, indigestion, heartburn, pain in the stomach, muscle pain, cough, headache, and flushing. There is nothing you can do to avoid these symptoms, as they may indicate that your body is adjusting to the dose prescribed, but you can make sure your mild side effects do not get worse. The most important thing to do is to exclude alcohol and grapefruit juice because of possible side effects interference with Cialis can produce. More serious side effects can include any of the following: general ill feeling, seizure, chest pain, light-headedness, priapism, vision changes, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet, sudden hearing loss, sweating, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, sudden vision loss, and fainting. Notify your doctor if you get any of the side effects mentioned, as they require special treatment. Never take more of Cialis than prescribed by your doctor to avoid such overdose symptoms as nausea, chest pain, light-headedness, fainting, and irregular heartbeat. If you get any of the symptoms mentioned – seek emergency medical help. It’s also important to mention any medical conditions you have that may potentially affect the success of your treatment, such as diabetes, stroke, low blood pressure, cavernosal fibrosis, irregular heartbeat, Peyronie's disease, a heart attack, high cholesterol, angulation, blood cell problems, liver, kidney, or heart disease, chest pain, high blood pressure, stomach or intestine ulcers, and any bleeding disorder. Your doctor needs to be notified of these medical conditions to be able to prescribe the lowest efficient dose you will benefit from.
